You Can Catch Them All at Happy Lemon Philippines

Ever since Krispy Kreme opened in the Philippines, I’ve been in love with their doughnuts especially with the Original Glazed one. It’s just perfect. If you haven’t tasted it then, you probably won’t understand. No worries! If I may, I think now is a great time for you to try Krispy Kreme. The doughnut company and coffeehouse chain released the OG Card.

Quick Review: Shou Hand-Pulled Noodles

Oh, I have a new favourite noodle shop! It is called Shou Hand-Pulled Noodles located at the Food Choices on the second floor of Trinoma Mall new building. Yep, it’s located at their food court. Who would have thought you’ll find a great place there, right? Anyway, my family and I always eat before doing our grocery shopping. But since the tables near Shou Hand-Pulled Noodles were always taken, we never notice the food choices there. Good thing, we were a bit early that day and found most tables still empty. Thus, we finally noticed Shou Hand-Pulled Noodles. 🙂

Sweet Temptations: Ice Cream, Crepe and Cupcake

Craving for sweets? Let’s be honest, no one can escape that feeling. According to Christine Gerbstadt, MD, RD, dietitian and spokeswoman of American Dietetic Association, sweet is the first taste humans prefer from birth. In addition, Susan Moores, MS, RD, registered dietitian and nutrition consultant in St. Paul, Minn said that the taste of sugar also releases endorphin that calm and relax us, and offer a natural “high.” Clearly, we can’t avoid sweets like ice cream, crepe and cupcakes even if we know these have high fat content. But with limitations it won’t be a problem. During my two-week Christmas vacation, I had an extreme craving for sweets. Since we did not prepare anything sweet for our Noche Buena and Media Noche, I was able to discover the following sweets.
