Easy, Tiger! There’s a New Thai Restaurant with a Kick

Remember Jatujak? This Thai restaurant was located on the fourth floor of The Block, SM City North EDSA. My colleagues turned friends and I frequent this restaurant because we used to always watch a movie in this building. Thus, it became our go-to restaurant when we crave for Thai food. Jatujak has several offerings and they are all good. We specifically love their Thai Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and Bagoong Rice. Also, I remember drinking the best Thai Milk Tea here. But that was years ago. So when my family and I went to watch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, I decided to visit the restaurant again. To my surprise, it’s been replaced by another Thai restaurant called Easy, Tiger – Thai Food with a Kick!

Tamarind: Taste of Issan Thai, The Block, SM North EDSA

One Sunday morning, my family and I decided to search for a nice restaurant at the mall. Sure, malls are busy on a weekend but if you plan to eat after hearing the mass then it’s the best place to be. They basically have it all! So after finding a parking space at SM North EDSA’s new building, we did a little walking and ended up at a place called Tamarind: Taste of Thai. We’ve been to this mall countless times but that was the first time we passed by that area. Thus, we didn’t hesitate to try it.

Conti’s Bakeshop & Restaurant, The Block, SM City North EDSA

The first thing that comes to mind when you say Conti’s is their Mango Bravo cake. No one can blame them because it’s really good. A great proof is that almost all the cakes I see at parties and surprise birthday celebrations are from Conti’s. But honestly, it’s been a while since I dined at their restaurant. Conti’s do offer several mouth-watering dishes. So for my Abuelita’s birthday, I decided to treat her at Conti’s Bakeshop & Restaurant.

Bistro Remedios: The Best in Filipino Cuisine

Have you seen the new area at the ground floor of SM North EDSA, The Block? Like most people who visit different malls, not all explore a certain floor or building except when needed. I’m glad I was looking for something that day and decided to take a different route. If I did not, I wouldn’t have discovered the array of restaurants near SM Hypermarket. From Japanese cuisine to Filipino favourites, you will find something that suits your taste buds. The one that caught my attention was Bistro Remedios.
