Buko pie is a two-crust pie filled with sliced buko in custard. This pie originated from Los Baños, Laguna. But if you can’t visit Laguna or don’t have a Colette’s Buko Pie at Pasalubong nearby, the closest you can get is Jollibee’s newest pie variant.
If you know me personally, then you know how much I love KitKat. In fact, when a family or a friend of mine goes to Japan I would ask them to bring home a KitKat for me. So far I have tried the original (of course), Dark Chocolate, Green Tea, Green Tea Bites, Hazelnut Crunch, Hokkaido Melon, Peanut Butter Chunky, Sakura Matcha, Strawberry Cheesecake and a lot more. I just couldn’t find all the photos but I do remember tasting different types of Green Tea KitKats because I was once obsessed with it. 🙂 (Who am I kidding? I still am!)
I love milk tea. But after exploring various milk tea shops in the Metro, I found a few that is really worth coming back to. Truthfully, I only visit those shops and I don’t give new milk tea shops a second glance anymore (except when their name sounds funny. Trust me, there are a lot!). However, I found something interesting one day. I wanted to get a snack before heading home so I passed by this newly-opened 7-Eleven branch near our village. As I passed by the ice cream section on my way to the cashier, my eye caught the words – MILK TEA.
Have you seen Strangers Things 3? I already finished watching the latest season but decided to re-watch the whole series with my younger cousins because one they wanted to. Two, the weekend weather just screamed Netflix & chill. It was really fun! And you know what made it even better? Savoury snacks!
