The Magic is Back! Disney+ Philippines Goes Live on November 17

You’ve read it by now! Yes, Disney+ is coming to the Philippines – and just in time for my birthday! You now know why you won’t be able to reach me next month! I’m simply putting it out there. 🙂

In any case, most people are aware of Disney+. But if you aren’t sure whether you need another subscription, let me tell you about Disney+.

The Magic is Back

Remember when it was announced that Disney Channel, including Disney Junior and the majority of its Fox channels, shut down in the rest of Asia after 21 years on the air? That was a sad day for all.

But on November 12, 2019, Disney+ was released in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. And after years of anticipation, the magic is back as Disney+ arrives in the Philippines on November 17.

I don’t see anything wrong with getting this if you love Disney and all of its content. But, to be honest, I’ve been preparing by cancelling my cable subscription and using only one streaming platform. All you need to know is what you’re interested in.

What is Disney+?

Disney+ is a streaming service dedicated to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star. Disney+ also gives you access to exclusive Disney+ original feature-length films, live-action and animated series, short-form content, and documentaries. It includes the award-winning animated film Encanto, as well as Disney+ Originals like She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and reality TV sensation The Kardashians.

And, via Star, Disney+ provides the most recent releases from 20th Century Studios, Disney Television Studios, FX, and Searchlight Pictures, as well as an extensive library of Asian content such as BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA, Big Mouth, and Snowdrop.

For the time being, all you need to do is visit disneyplus.com. Choose ‘Keep me updated.’ Enter your mobile phone number and email address to register for Disney+. Use the OTP to confirm your mobile number. A confirmation screen will appear.

Here are the plans and pricing as well! Oh, I can’t wait to complete my Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 – The Multiverse Saga reviews.
