Click or Treat? discovery+ Now in the Philippines

The Disney Channel is no longer available in Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong. On Friday, October 1, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and 16 other channels in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong were shut down.

This means there will be no more Mickey. What a nightmarish scenario! But don’t worry, the Internet has brought you good news. Discovery+, a streaming service, is now available in the Philippines. And, in case you haven’t heard, they have a LIMITED TIME OFFER!

In the first year of the annual subscription, you only need to pay P129. Following that, the standard price will apply.

T&Cs apply. Learn more at: https://bit.ly/3lBRf02

A discovery+ subscription grants you instant, unlimited access to over 55,000 episodes of 2,500+ current and classic TV shows. TLC, AFN, HGTV, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and more, as well as exclusive Originals, are all available in one place.

What Shows to Watch?

Because it’s Halloween, it’s fun to watch Halloween-themed shows. If you’re looking for scary level shows, type “horror” into the search bar at the bottom of this page.

This will display all of the horror films and series that I have reviewed. I’m hoping they’re still available online. If not, why not give discovery+ a shot? Ghostober is a section or channel on the platform which lists all the scary fun shows and the real frightening ones.

I mostly enjoy binge-watching food-related shows because I am a foodie. However, there are two that are quite distinct. Anyway, please keep reading. And I hope you get a chance to see these shows this Halloween season.

Halloween Baking Championship

The country’s top bakers battle to create spooky, irresistible desserts. The baker that impresses the judges most will be crowned champion and take home the grand prize.

Halloween Wars

Cake decorators, sugar artists and pumpkin carving experts battle it out as they create Halloween-themed edible displays. The last team to scare off the competition will take home a $50,000 grand prize.

Freakshow Cakes

Cake artists whip up sinister creations in a competition hosted by Food Network Kitchen’s Vivian Chan and Zac Young. The baker who showcases the most hair-raising design wins $10,000 and the title of Freakshow Champion.

Trick or Eat

Chef Carla Hall crisscrosses America to scare up some ghoulishly good grub and tricked-out treats, including mouthwatering zombie burgers in Atlanta, colossal freak shakes in Salem, MA, and monstrous Franken-chops in New Orleans.

Kids Halloween Baking Championship

Four fan favourites from Kids Baking Championship are back to battle in two spooky challenges. They must create something sweet and scary as well as a hybrid monster dessert. Only one will take home the title of champion and $10,000.

Now, these two are different shows which you might like, too.

All-Star Halloween Spectacular

Food Network, HGTV and Travel Channel stars team up to create life-sized haunted houses on the Las Vegas strip. Drew Scott and Tia Mowry face off against Jonathan Scott and Duff Goldman, with Adam Richman helping out both teams.

My Ghost Story: Asia

We all have a ghost story to tell, but not many of us have actually recorded our run-is with paranormal. Welcome to My Ghost Story, where real-life supernatural encounters are told by the people who experienced them.

Are you getting hungry after viewing all of the food shows I mentioned? What about ordering these delectable snacks? I love Halloween, so I bought Halloween-themed snacks. Look at these!

#SharetheSpook I always order Krispy Kreme’s line-up of monsterrific doughnuts – Halloween Sprinkles, Jack the Pumpkin and Frankie, plus NEW characters, Halloween Bride, Mr. Skelly and Skelly’s Suit! 🎃👻
Kiwi Italian Soda by Chibiro Cafe. The kiwi tastes lovely. Oh, doesn’t it look like a great #Halloween drink? The violet and green colour made it look like a delicious potion! ☽🔮☾
I think I have a new favourite Halloween doughnut and doughnut shop, in general! 🎃👻 J.Co’s Mr Googly, Spiderwick and ChocoWebster are cute; not to mention, delicious!

That concludes this blog post. I just wanted to write something simply because I’m currently on vacation. But I’ll be back soon with more food and film reviews on this blog, Facebook, Instagram and on my YouTube channel.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful Halloween!
