I usually post a blog roundup every first day of the month. Since April 1 is Fool’s Day, I didn’t dare to as you might not believe my updates. 🙂
Anyway, March 2019 was a very busy and stressful work month for me. That is why I was so thankful for my other activities which include foodie meetups and media launches as I was able to have fun and loosen up a bit.
Before those, I would like to first share with you that I participated in a campaign that featured women and coffee to celebrate International Women’s Day. Here’s the link to the post. If you haven’t already, please follow me, like the photo, and if you love coffee like I do, follow the brand.
Now, let me share with you what I did last month.
I attended Camp Curry’s Media Day at their second Philippine branch located at Ayala Malls Feliz. Do you love camping AND curry? You can experience both in this camping-themed restaurant called Camp Curry! Hailed as one of Tokyo’s most-loved curry restaurant, Camp Curry serves tasty and healthy curry dishes which are cooked fresh upon order!
Btw, that week I received a product which I tested for five days. You can read my review here: Tried & Tested: L’Oréal Paris True Match Pressed Powder.
Going back to food. Do you value authentic and delicious Mandarin cuisine? There’s this place along West Avenue that stood the test of time. It’s called Shantung and they have been serving authentic Mandarin cuisine since 1958.
Now let’s talk about the summer heat! Do you have a love-hate relationship with summer like I do? Well, I have good news for you! During Ombu Kusina’s summer food-tasting event they launched their summer menu which includes their new flavored ice halo-halo series!
They are offering three summer flavors – Tres Leches, Mango, and Milktea! My favorite is the Tres Leches. Besides these, they also offer delicious summer snacks like Suzi Wong Sandwich and Tinapa Croquette. If you visit them this month, make sure to use my code VIPClarisays to get 10% off on your total bill. Promo until May 11 only!
Lastly, remember when I said that my March was stressful? Well, I decided to cut my hair super short and did some home pampering which ended with me using Garnier Black Serum Mask. Want to read my review? Here you go: Tried & Tested: Garnier Black Serum Mask – Pure Charcoal.
Behind the Lens
I’m currently writing two film-related posts which I will post this week. Well, hopefully. I hope you read them, too. Moreover, I also created another Instagram account called: ClariCaptures. As the name suggests, it’s a photography page. You see, my smartphone decided to retire so I decided this was the time to buy a camera. And since it’s my first camera, I wanted to practice and practice. To see my progress, I decided to upload those photos in that account.
If you can, please follow me there, too. You can comment, share tips, or suggest what I should try capturing next.
For now, I hope you enjoy reading my blog posts and watching my videos!
