There are two Danny’s Grill in Quezon City – Timog Avenue Corner Scout Tuazon Street and the newest branch which is in Circle C Mall at Project 8. Since we live near the latter, we always dine at that branch.
During our first visit, the staff were courteous but quite slow. It was also difficult to call them because you can’t always see them. Though it was quite annoying, the experience was not that bad so we visited them again weeks after their opening week. I can honestly say that their service improved. Staff are still courteous but they are now faster and more attentive than before.
What about the place? Well, the restaurant is well-ventilated and also clean. Btw, they have a wide glass window. If you love staring outside (like me), you’ll enjoy the Congressional Avenue view. *Oh by the way, Danny’s Grill has Live Acoustic Music Nights from Monday to Sunday. If you’re bringing a car, no worries because they have parking spaces.
What about the food? If it’s your first time dining at Danny’s Grill, you should know that there are two different menus here. The first one is filled with various Chinese dishes while the other offers a variety of Filipino dishes.
Though I love Filipino food, I’m always there for their dimsum promo. From 11am, you get to enjoy selected dim sum plates for only Php 50. We tried their Spareribs with Tausi, Japanese Siomai and Shark’s Fin.
For the main dishes, we have also tried their Sweet and Sour Pork, White Chicken, Fried Crispy Pork, Tokwa’t Baboy and Wanton noodles.
If you’re near the area and looking for a good place to eat, Danny’s Grill is a good choice. Besides offering a wide selection of Filipino and Chinese dishes, their food are mostly satisfying and the prices quite affordable. 👍
