Café Adriatico, the restaurant that started the “bistro culture” in the Philippines brings their old-time food favorites on a small nook at the Food Circuit of The Block, SM City North EDSA.
Yes, the place is quite small but Café Adriatico Express can give you a great dining experience. Just take a look at their interior and dim lighting. (See video – please subscribe!) These elements make the atmosphere more relaxed allowing you to enjoy the food and company. Moreover, the service is fast and the staff courteous and accommodating.
Now for the dishes they offer. As mentioned earlier, they serve the well-loved dishes of Café Adriatico BUT it doesn’t end there. Café Adriatico Express also offers new menu items perfect for solo diners, couples even groups!
Want to see what they have to offer? Here are a few of the items I was able to try.
Ensalada Esmeralda P299
Chicken Macaroni P125
Pork Empanaditas P175
Garlic Chicken Wings P195
Baked Salmon Rice Topping P250
BBQ Pork Belly P195
American Beef Stew P295
Pepperoni Pizza P195
Primavera Pizza P225
Mushroom and Bacon Pizza P195
Our Famous Pancit Palabok P225
French Kiss P185
The dishes Café Adriatico Express offers are delicious and quite affordable. From the ones I shared with you, there are some that I would love to try again.
First on my list is the Garlic Chicken Wings. These golden brown fried chicken are indeed crispy and oozing with garlic butter. You can share these with someone or with your family/friends. Actually, once you taste it I’m sure you might not want to share. 😉
Next is the Primavera Pizza. Honestly, all the pizzas are good. It just so happens that I love the combination of capsicum, mushroom, onion, spinach, tomato, zucchini, and of course, mozzarella; not to mention, the perfect balance of toppings and dough.
Now if you’re dining solo, I recommend the Baked Salmon Rice Topping. I’m a fan of Baked Salmon and Café Adriatico’s version of baked creamy salmon with veggies on top of steamed rice won’t disappoint.
To end your lovely meal, make sure to enjoy some sweet French Kiss – chilled brioche French toast with whipped cream, blueberries and maple syrup. You won’t regret it!
Ready to experience Café Adriatico Express? You can find them at the Ground Floor of The Block, SM City North EDSA right beside Bistro Remedios, their sister company.
Btw, did you know that Café Adriatico is celebrating their 39th year? Congratulations LJC Group and thank you! 🙂
Happy eating!
