Enjoy Classic Filipino Favorites at Lucas Modern Filipino

Remember in our previous FoodieViews entry we mentioned that Grub Hub is offering new hole in the wall food concepts? Well, we got the chance to try another food stall called Lucas Modern Filipino.

I guess the name says it all. Lucas Modern Filipino offers classic Pinoy favorites such as renowned chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain’s favorite – Sisig! In fact, you get to enjoy their Pork Sisig with rice for only Php 140.

Besides this, Lucas Modern Filipino also offers Bagnet, Grilled Liempo, Pork Tenderloin Chops, Chicharon Bulaklak, Grilled Pork Tenderloin and Grilled Tuna. Are you dining with your family or friends? No worries because you can order the aforementioned dishes as ala carte. Not only that, but they also offer Gambas, Kinilaw Na Tuna and Kinilaw Na Hipon. Perfect for groups, right?

But are they good?

Very!

We tried their Bagnet, Chicharon Bulaklak, and Grilled Tuna. Though they are very simple dishes, the Bagnet and Chicharon Bulaklak are so crispy and juicy while the Grilled Tuna is tasty and tender. The only problem we encountered is the serving size. Maybe add a little bit more para hindi bitin! 😉

Btw, people usually prefer cola for dishes like these, right? We recommend a refreshing drink this hot weather like 🌞 Four Seasons and Green Tea with Lychee. You can get these at Grub Hub’s bar section!
