I have a love-hate relationship with Burgoo. Mainly because I don’t understand their food. Sometimes they serve a deliciously satisfying meal. Sometimes they don’t. Knowing their prices, it’s quite difficult to accept that the food isn’t great. So I invited my family to visit different branches.

These two branches – Tomas Morato and The Block SM City North EDSA – were okay. But their branch at Ayala Fairview Terraces is better.

Burgoo – Ayala Fairview Terraces

First let’s talk about the place. Though it’s not as big as the one in SM North, this particular branch offers a more spacious and comfortable ambiance – possibly the good arrangement and lighting; not to mention, proper ventilation.

Moving on, the number one reason why I love this branch is the service. The staff present that day were not only friendly but also attentive. As diners (especially the hungry ones), it’s quite difficult to follow up your orders after a long waiting time. And once you’re enjoying your meal, it’s also quite annoying to look up and find no one available to place another order or ask a glass of water/refill. I’m glad we did not experience that here.

Moreover, all the food we ordered were delicious – from Burgoo’s Seafood Linguine to their Bacon Cheeseburger and their mouthwatering Chicken Meal.

We’ve already tasted some of these at the other branches. The flavors, texture, and serving were worth it. Combine that with the service, I can honestly say that Burgoo – Ayala Fairview Terraces gave my family and I a great dining experience. I just hope we have the same satisfying lunch on our future visit here and at the other branches.
