Surely you’ve seen Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. I too, have seen the film but encountered some problems before I could. Despite a number of cinemas are showing CACW, tickets were quickly sold out. Since my family and I were already at the mall – SM NORTH EDSA The Block, we decided to take the next one.
Lo and behold, we had to wait two hours and 30 minutes. Bummer, right? So, what can we do to fill those lonely hours?
One word: EAT!
Early dinner wasn’t bad anyways. So we checked the restaurants in that same floor and found Rai Rai Ken Ramen House & Sushi Bar.

My grandmother was with us and she isn’t into Japanese cuisine…. Let me rephrase that! She’s not into any food other than Filipino and Spanish. To my surprise, she approved. It didn’t take us long to decide which ones we like but it took a little while for the food to be served which for me is quite reasonable.
If you haven’t visited Rai Rai Ken Ramen House & Sushi Bar, the restaurant is well-know for its old-fashioned steamy bowl of ramen. They also offer authentic Japanese dishes and all-time favorites such as Bento, Sushi, Sashimi, Donburi, Teriyaki, Teppanyaki and more.
To be honest, it’s been a while since I had a Japanese meal. For me, nothing beats the one at UMU Japanese Restaurant in Dusit Thani Manila. But I rarely go there because it’s far away. But even though Rai Rai Ken Ramen House & Sushi Bar is a casual restaurant, I have to admit that I do enjoy a hearty meal in a relaxing ambiance. Sometimes the simplicity of a dish in a simple and relaxing ambiance is pure bliss.
Moreover, I mentioned earlier that my grandmother isn’t into Japanese food. Well, she enjoyed her meal especially the Kani Salad and Gyoza. Besides that, we also had Gyudon and Chicken Karaage Bowl & Mini Ramen.
If you’re planning to dine in at Rai Rai Ken Ramen House & Sushi Bar, try any of the above or choose which ones would please your taste buds. Rai Rai Ken Ramen House & Sushi Bar has a lot to offer.
