Unleash Your Inner Geek with Abubot.ph

When it was announced that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theatres in December, I immediately planned when and where to watch it. I was so eager to line up and watch on the first week because I love Star Wars and December 25 is the start of the Metro Manila Film Festival. It’s the season wherein cinemas stop screening foreign films and stick with all the entries for the MMFF for a few weeks.

But since it’s a popular one, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was made available for viewing only on IMAX theatres. I know that watching Star Wars in IMAX is a great idea but my eyes don’t quite appreciate it. So I waited until January to watch it in a regular cinema. And if the movie I like has a nice SM Snack Time tumbler, I usually buy one or two. Unfortunately, they ran out.

Why?! 😦  Two words: Star Wars!

So after watching it, I visited the interactive Star Wars Exhibit in SM. But I wasn’t satisfied. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Abubot.ph.

Online Shopping

Abubot.ph is an online store that sells geek-related toys, shirts, gear and other collectibles. If you love Harry Potter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Hobbit, Transformers, and of course Star Wars, you will find something you will love here.

You can go through the products on their website – https://abubot.ph.

After browsing through the pages, I decided to purchase a shirt and a key chain. However, I wasn’t quite keen on doing a bank deposit or use my Paypal account. I am still new at online shopping, so I opted for the “Cash on Delivery” (COD).

You just have to make sure your minimum order reaches P1,000. Orders not meeting the required amount will be cancelled. Plus, this mode of payment is available for Metro Manila residents only. Indeed, this mode of payment fits perfectly!

Before I ordered, I first read HOW TO PAY and HOW TO BUY GUIDE to help me understand the fees, etc. Then, I went ahead to create my account and ordered.

You will then receive an email with the subject line: Shipping confirmation for order #__. The email contains the list of items you ordered, the total as well as the tracking number for the items.

I ordered mine on January 11, 2016, at 7:54 PM and received the items on January 13, 2016, before lunchtime.

Zombies Eat Brains, You Are Safe! Shirt

I love the material of the Zombie Eat Brains, You are Safe! Shirt; not to mention, the message. 🙂

I really wanted to bring home the force in the officially licensed Star Wars gift bags from Filbar’s or a lightsaber. But if you have cousins who are still too little to understand “do not touch” or “do not destroy”, you will definitely choose something else like a Star Wars The Dark Side Shirt and the Vader Key Chain with Light.

The white Star Wars watch on the side is a limited-edition STAR WARS Watch given to those who purchased an HP printer. Good thing, I bought a printer in January 2016, the last month of the promo. 🙂

Vader Key Chain with Light

Yes, the eye lights up when you click the small button on top. When you do that, an alert-type of sound also comes out. I really think the Vader Key Chain with Light is really cool. 🙂

The transaction at Abubot.ph was fast, easy, and totally safe. The items were carefully folded and wrapped in bubble wrap. In short, all items are in good condition. Since I had a great experience and love the items, I have followed them on their social media accounts to keep tabs on their new arrivals. Plus, I am also waiting for the new sizes of the other shirts I want.

If you also want to unleash your inner geek, Abubot.ph can help you! Visit them at https://abubot.ph and create your account today!

Happy shopping!
