3 Halloween Activities that are Worthy, Different and Family-Friendly

Everyone loves Halloween but each individual has a different way of celebrating it. For instance, some people love to attend parties while some love to host one. There also those who prefer decorating their homes and give away candies while others take their children trick-or-treating. But there are also people who prefer staying at home to read a book perfect of the occasion or enjoy a horror movie marathon.

3 Halloween Activities that are Worthy, Different and Family-Friendly

If you are looking for something worthy, different or family-friendly, below are three things you can do this Halloween.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

So, your child wants to be a superhero for Halloween? Tell him or her that it is possible to be one this Halloween and for life.

Let your children be superheroes by taking part of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Superheroes campaign. With this campaign, you do not only bring a special meaning to Halloween but teach your children the value of helping others. Instead of asking treats such as candies and chocolates, children can collect money for donation.

Just go to any Toy Kingdom branch nationwide from October 1 to 31, 2015. Parents or guardians need to fill out the registration and consent forms. Once completed, you will receive a FREE Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF donation kit. If you are registering more than one child, each child will receive a kit. Now, your child can trick-or-treat anywhere, anytime!

Mommies and daddies please help your children! Bring them to the office or visit your neighbors. You still have time! This can be done the entire month of October. Pretty sure this Friday, October 30 a.k.a salary day or on October 31, people will have funds available on the spot! 😉

After trick-or-treating for UNICEF, visit any SM Bill Payment counter in SM Department Stores, SM Supermarkets, SM Hypermarkets, and Savemore nationwide. Make sure to count your donations first and don’t forget to inform the cashier that your donation is for the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Superheroes campaign. And remember,  ask for a receipt!

Those who turn in their donations before November 30, 2015 will receive a special certificate of appreciation from UNICEF. Call (02) 758-1000/901-0160 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm to claim your child’s certificate.

Bake with the Family
I’m sure you’ve seen donut and bake shops release Halloween edition goods. They are tempting, tasty, and attractive. While it’s easier to buy one or a dozen, it’s actually more fun if you bake it with the family. Not to mention, you have control over the ingredients.
