Looking for a new place to dine? Then keep your eyes peeled for a sign that says Gudo along Congressional Avenue Extension. Gudo is a little restaurant that offers delicious pizza, pasta, steak, and peri peri at affordable prices.
Yes, such place exists! In fact, there are many individuals, lovers, friends and families dining at Gudo. Every time I pass by, I see people patiently waiting outside or in the car. Seeing that made me conclude their food is special. Thus, I have to bring my family there too.
And so we decided to have our Sunday lunch at Gudo. Located at #17 Congressional Avenue Extension, Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City, the place can be easily spotted if you look for Clean Fuel Gas Station. The little restaurant is right across the gas station. There you’ll see a logo of a smiling chef welcoming you to Gudo.
As mentioned, Gudo is a small restaurant but it is well ventilated and organized. The chairs and tables are in good condition while plates, cups, and utensils are clean. In short, this is a good place to eat.
The food, on the other hand, was indeed fulfilling. We dined here a few times already and these are the ones we’ve tried so far.
Peri Peri Chicken P125
Love eating chicken? Then try Gudo’s Peri Peri Chicken. For only P125, you get to taste a uniquely grilled chicken with a combination of very hot peri peri sauce and spices served with rice.
T-Bone Steak P175
Here’s another complete meal fit for steak lovers. Enjoy this tender and flavoursome flame-grilled T-bone steak with creamy gravy served with a choice of mashed potato or rice for P175.
Chicken Alfredo P135
Don’t like rice? Go for pasta! Gudo’s Chicken Alfredo is made of well-seasoned grilled chicken breast strips mixed in rich creamy white sauce with olives, basil and a dose of Parmesan cheese.
Gudo Special P170
This is your all-in-one 10-inch pizza in thin crust. Gudo’s Special pizza is filled with tasty toppings such as mozzarella cheese melted over piles of beef, bell pepper, onion, olives, pepperoni complete with tomato sauce.
3 Cheese P130
A cheesy pizza is absolutely the best. For only P130, savour this 10-inch 3 Cheese pizza in thin-crust bursting with a combination of mozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar on a white sauce. Yum!
These are the only ones we’ve tried. But there are many more that interest my taste buds such as the Pesto Pasta and the White Pesto Pizza. If you want to try the food yourself, head over to Congressional Avenue Extension and look for the smiling chef!
