Discovering new and familiar products from the BDJ April 2015 box was exciting. With a total of twelve products plus a bonus item, I found most of them suitable for my needs. And so, after unboxing comes the product usage.

As mentioned, I found some familiar items one of which is the Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub. Coincidentally, I use this product and find it perfect for my needs. So no doubt about this particular item; however, I wasn’t at all familiar with Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Facial Scrub. Heck! I didn’t know they have a facial scrub. In the end, I decided to try the new ones first.

I have been using those unfamiliar products for more than a week. Honestly, I am still using them. 🙂 To sum up my BDJ Box experience, I will now share my top five (5) favourite products.

5. The fifth place goes to two products – MyChoice Pure Herbal Soap, 100g (Php 55) and MyChoice Anti Acne Cream, 20g (Php 100).

MyChoice Pure Herbal Soap is a cleanser, exfoliator and moisturizer perfect for all skin types. I’m glad I got the natural aloe vera because I am a fan of this miracle plant. We have the plant in our home and use it to treat burns, dry skin, and scalp problems. The second is MyChoice Anti Acne Cream, a superb whitening facial cream. I thought it would be sticky when applied on the face but it wasn’t. A bonus point is a soothing fragrance.

I love both products. Though both are different, I ranked them fifth because I can use them on certain seasons or circumstances only. But I will definitely purchase once I feel the need of using them again.

4. Tony Moly Intense Care Snail Foot Mask, 18ml (Php198)

Foot spa is a necessity. Our feet get tired from all the walking, running, even the standing. I try my best not to deprive my feet of a relaxing foot treatment. But with zero time and sometimes budget, I turn to those DIY foot treatments at home to remove dry skin and callouses as well as to smoothen the feet.

Seeing the Tony Moly Intense Care Snail Foot Mask in my BDJ Box, I can now add this to my DIY foot treatment on schedule. Moisturize and renew your skin with the help of the snail lime extract in the foot mask. It’s even easy to use. After washing the feet and soaking it in warm water, carefully place the mask which acts as a sock for 20 minutes. Leave it to dry and feel that smoother and pampered skin.

3. MyChoice Perfume Spray, 22ml (Php 60)

This perfume spray has over 15 different scents. I like the scent I found in my box especially the name Moon Light. Not to mention, the packaging is good though quite different from what I imagined when I saw the name. I thought it would be darker, maybe midnight blue. But the red background with silver, yellow and white colors are fine. The scent is not that strong which is great plus it lasts long. I just need a few spritz and voila! I would like to try the other scents as well. Despite my asthma, I adore colognes and perfumes.

2. Asian Secrets Lulur – Whitening Facial Scrub, 100g (Php 120)

I have been using Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub but this is the first time for the Whitening Facial Scrub. Advisable for every other day, my skin seem to love the Lulur Indonesian whitening facial scrub. The beads gently exfoliate removing dead skin cells and leaving my skin smooth and lighter. The heaviness from dirt and oil has been replaced by renewed skin and fragrant scent.

1. MyChoice Bubble Shower Salt 2-in-1, 225g (Php 100)

When a girl works too hard, she needs all the pampering she could get. Moisturize, rejuvenate, and whiten the skin, MyChoice Bubble Shower Salt can do all these. Moreover, this Bubble Shower Salt can be used as an everyday soap. What I do is use this after bathing leaving my skin fresh and ready to face the summer heat. I can honestly say that this product will forever be part of my daily bathing ritual.

But what about the rest of the items, you ask?

• Revlon Highlighting Palette

Well, they are great products as well. That is why I gave some of the items to people who would fully utilize them while the rest will be used when the time is right! 🙂

A week after I received my box, our family friend’s wife gave birth. So I gave her a small advanced Mother’s Day present.
