Not everyone is familiar with this day, but everyone seems to be doing it with or without their knowledge. So grab your camera and let’s take a picture of nature because today is Nature Photography Day!
In 2006, The North American Nature Photography Association created Nature Photography Day to encourage nature photography as well as promote the conservation and protection of nature worldwide.
As mentioned earlier, everyone with a camera seems to be doing this already. They take photos of anything actually. But what would make each photo more special than the others you took? I would say the story behind it and the purpose. The Nature Photography Day, my friend is a reason to take photos. Explore the natural world around you. In my case, I have to explore our little garden.
My grandmother and father both have a green thumb. (So lucky!) That is why we have different plants at home and in the province which you probably saw on my May blog post. Now these are just simple plants which you could buy at the Manila Seedling Bank compound which is now located in the Quezon Memorial Circle. The new site is now called the Quezon City Circle Garden.
With these photos, I would like to encourage everyone to plant or buy plants and place them in your home. If you do not have a garden, you can create a mini version or just place a few indoor plants. Easy!
Have a happy Nature Photography Day!
