Last December, I have been receiving newsletters from Belle de Jour about the Free Pantene Pro-V Hair Treatment Kit. It was only this January that I remembered to sign up. After a few days, my Free Pantene Pro-V Hair Treatment Kit finally arrived.

Condition the Hair
The kit has two bottles in it. The first is the Pantene Pro-V Daily Intensive Conditioner which helps repair damaged hair tips.

When we say damaged hair tips, it means split ends. There are various reasons why this occurs. It may be due to excessive use of hot styling tools, styling products or chemical treatments. It may also be caused by the weather itself or improper hair care.

The Pantene Pro-V Daily Intensive Conditioner prevents this from happening because it contains 80% more conditioning ingredients than regular Pantene conditioners. It seals every strand of the hair avoiding protein loss and damage progression.

To use, gently squeeze the hair to drain off excess water. Then apply an adequate amount of conditioner on hair. Carefully spread conditioner all over the hair using the fingers. Leave it for at least five minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Second is the Pantene Pro-V All Day Smooth Miracle Water. This product beats dryness and humidity in any weather. With just one to two pumps of this product, the hair will maintain the perfect level of moisture.

To use, pump once or twice and spread evenly on the hair. Carefully run the fingers and palms on each section to allow the ingredients to settle in the hair.

The Free Kit
I must say, the “free” kit is a generous one. I thought they were sending the small bottles. But they actually sent a 180ml bottle of Pantene Pro-V Daily Intensive Conditioner and a 100ml bottle of Pantene Pro-V All Day Smooth Miracle Water.

The products, on the other hand, seem to fit my hair. The conditioner made my hair silkier while the miracle water made it manageable. However, I had a problem with the miracle water the first time I used it. I did not like how it felt in my hands when I applied it. But as I continued spreading the product with my fingers, my hair became softer and manageable. Not to mention, the smell of both products complimented my hair.
