If you do your shopping at Cherry Congressional Avenue, you know that The French Baker has been there since the beginning. And from that particular time, The French Baker did some renovations allowing more customers to dine in making them more than just a bakery.
Fast forward to today, The French Baker looks more beautiful especially the fancy set up they have over the drinks counter. The design pieces are also pretty and fit perfectly to the overall theme. Moreover, it’s at the perfect spot near the entrance of the now SM – Cherry Congressional Avenue and the grocery.
Being there many times, I have almost tried all their dishes. There’s my go-to meal Whole Grain Tuna Sandwich which is made of freshly baked 100% whole grain bread sided with their own potato chips and honey balsamic greens as well as the Egg Salad Sandwich which is also sided with their own potato chips and honey balsamic greens.
The Hickory Spareribs is also a good choice. Imagine juicy pork spareribs topped with Hickory BBQ sauce and a pan-roasted seasonal vegetables. Hmm divine!
Besides these, I do have my favorites one of which is the Quiche Lorraine.
Their Quiche Lorraine is freshly-baked; not only that, but it is served with soup of the day and honey balsamic greens. Though it’s just an appetizer, this for me is a completely delicious meal.
Another favorite is the Grilled Veggie Sandwich. I do love fresh veggies but grilled ones sounds and tastes great especially with a fresh baked ciabatta bread. And just like all their other sandwich meals, this one is also sided with honey balsamic greens and potato chips.
In conclusion, The French Baker does offer fresh, healthy and affordable specialty breads and baked goods. But if you haven’t tried dining at The French Baker, well you should! They have an array of exciting and worth the price dishes that will surely surprise and please your taste buds!
